Purity, power, persistence. Lime leaf and green apple aromas invigorate the senses. Flavours are delicate and bright but with power to persist, held together with precise acidity. The palate finishes with clean, slate minerality. Careful cellaring and patience will reward with graceful ageing.

Growing Conditions
It was an early start to vintage, due to warmer and drier than average conditions. The first white grapes were picked in late January, with the last of the reds in the winery by the first week of March. Some challenging conditions, however with the hard work by both vineyard and winery teams, we saw some excellent potential from harvested fruit.
Vineyard
The unique terroir of the Ackland Vineyard grows exceptional Riesling for our single vineyard wines. The combination of vine age, soils, aspect and elevation produce elegant wines, always considered a benchmark from each vintage. Vine age of 47+ years.
