2022 Clare Valley Cabernet Malbec
The 2022 Cabernet Malbec is a combination of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Malbec. Characteristic Cabernet flavours of blackcurrants and dark chocolate are highlighted with touches of mint-cream. The Malbec brings richness and vibrancy of colour, with red fruit, raspberry, and spiced plums. The palate is structured to carry all the flavours right the end.

Growing Conditions
Some good rain events toward the end of winter and into the start of spring provided a good start to the growing season, with soil profiles observed at maximum moisture levels still at the start of November. Vines put on good strong early growth, with the emergence of inflorescence providing a positive insight of the potential yields.
Vineyard
This blend was chosen for its ability to grow well in Clare, with each variety complementing the other. Fruit is taken from our Yertabulti and Provis vineyard, situated at the northern end of the Clare Valley, this is the perfect climate for maturing our premium red grapes.
