2025 The Insider Gewürztraminer
Gewürztraminer, hard to pronounce, delicious to drink. We call GT for short. A highly aromatic variety, displaying perfumed aromas of rose petal, lychee, and citrus. Grapes are harvested early in their development to retain high natural acidity, resulting in low alcohol which balances out perfectly with natural sugar from the ferment, and a little spritz on the palate for texture.

Growing Conditions
It was an early start to vintage, due to warmer and drier than average conditions.The first white grapes were picked in late January, with the last of the reds in the winery by the first week of March.Some challenging conditions, however with the hard work by both vineyard and winery teams, we saw some excellent potential from harvested fruit.Rieslings were brightly aromatic and fresh on the palate, while red wines had great concentration of colur, flavour and tannin.An exciting vintage to watch closely for good ageing potential.
