2024 Clare Valley Pinot Gris

Growing Conditions

The 2024 growing season commenced
with a relatively dry winter, followed
by cool wet conditions up until
Christmas. Summer and Autumn
were dry and warmer than average.
The ripening conditions were ideal,
with low disease pressure producing
clean fruit with exceptional flavour.

Vineyards

Two estate vineyards combine to
make this Pinot Gris. One is located
in the southern end of the valley and
has soils with a heavier brown loam
content and westerly aspect. The
other is located in the north, with red
soils and an easterly aspect. Both
combine to produce complex fruity
flavour and a rich fruit profile, while
retaining a sense of delivacy and
lightness.
